Jianchang Mao
Jianchang (JC) Mao, the former Vice President of Google Assistant Engineering and former Corporate Vice President of Microsoft.

JC brings with him a wealth of experience and accomplishments in the industry. As a renowned computer scientist, he has made substantial contributions to artificial intelligence, machine learning, computational advertising, data mining, and information retrieval. His outstanding work in pattern recognition, search, content analysis, and computational advertising earned him the prestigious title of Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2012.

Throughout his illustrious career, JC has held key positions at IBM Almaden Research Center, Verity Inc., Yahoo!, and Microsoft before his tenure as the Vice President of Google Assistant Engineering at Google. With over 30 U.S. patents and more than 50 published papers in journals, book chapters, and conferences, JC has been a trailblazer in the world of computer science and technology, and R&D of innovative consumer, enterprise, and advertising products and services that are powered by AI. He has also served advisory roles in startups.
